Smart List: 60 People Shaping the Future of K-12 Education
I feel that the Core Curriculum idea is awesome! I feel that the idea of having more of a hands-on approach to learning will better suit learners of the 21st century. I feel that this method is able to attract and engage more learners (and different types of learners!) at a time. Part of the learning process should be exploring and reading things that spark one’s own interests. I am all for the Core Curriculum in Mississippi, and apparently so are the teachers. More states need to look into bringing this into more schools across the nation.
