I saw an interesting presentation by Lake Research the other day about where the public is on education. The slide to the right (which you can download full size by clicking this link (pdf)) jumped out for a few reasons, but especially the rural data. It’s ironic that the region most likely to appreciate the importance of school improvement is the one most overlooked in the current reform conversation.
