Turnaround on Turnarounds

For a while school turnarounds or restructurings were one of the most talked about but least acted on aspects of No Child Left Behind. That may be changing thanks to some good work from MA.* On Tuesday Rick Hess hosted a big confab** to discuss school turnaround efforts based on the recent MassInsight report (pdf)***, which if you haven’t read you should. It’s clear that the report has started a more serious conversation around this issue and has funders thinking about what sort of infrastructure they can support and build as well as what policymakers and educators can do.
