Another Pile…

Lots of chatter about this weekend’s NYT Mag article on Teach for America. Whether people like it or not seems to turn on whether they like TFA or not. One thing that jumped out at me though was that again a writer at a major media outlet treats all the research as equal (or in this actually favors less rigorous work over more rigorous studies) when all the studies are hardly of comparable quality. You can’t just pile them up and see which stack is higher, but too often that’s what happens.
