Indy On The March

Teach For America is coming to Indianapolis.* It’s part of a what Indy Mayor Bart Peterson is doing through his Mind Trust venture**. Indy could well become the Silicon Valley or Seattle of educational innovation and keep an eye on Peterson, one of the nation’s most interesting mayors and promising politicians.

*I’m continually astounded that while some cities, Indy and others, compete intensely to land promising human capital ideas like Teach For America others just sit around doing next to nothing, or actually nothing, and complaining about the problems with their teaching force.
