Re the DC plagiarism story that is also making the rounds. Three thoughts. First, this could have/should have been handled better, sure. Second, however, districts should borrow from other districts when good ideas are at hand and the grumbling that Fenty hired people who are doing that is just silly. Originality shouldn’t be prized over progress. Third, Mike Casserly makes an important point about Charlotte at the end of the WaPo article.
