Wiki Madness

Cass Sunstein turns in an interesting op-ed in Saturday’s WaPo about wiki culture. This seems to me such an obvious thing to help with teacher professional development and lesson planning because it shifts the entire focus from getting things to teachers to giving them a place to go for support. There are obviously some fledgling efforts now, for profit and non-profit, to create places like that around the web for teachers but nothing that even approaches a Wikipedia mini-me status. Teachscape is plowing powerful new directions in professional development with technology, but not quite the same thing. Seems like an opportunity for those social entrepreneurs!
