The Achievement Gap Is So Last Year…And, Is The NEA Hitting Puberty?

You know how they say that when you hear your neighbor touting a hot stock it’s time to sell? Well, the NEA is now all over the achievement gap (granted, though, their remedies are pretty last year last century, too), they even have a website with a creepy video devoted to it. The video has a somber voice and a vibe that evokes those movies about puberty you used to watch in sex ed class: You’re reaching a time when the achievement gap is going to start to make you feel “different” and you’re going to notice “changes” in how you feel toward the achievement gap…these feelings are normal…you’re becoming an adult…
