Franklin Roosevelt On Education
In February 1936 Franklin Roosevelt gave a commencement address at Temple University. He was receiving an honorary degree on a day that fell on George Washington’s birthday. Times have changed, but 77 years later some education themes and concerns that sound familiar, and some good reminders.
