		<description>Duncan&#039;s &quot;third way&quot; does indeed have some appeal, but I am alarmed at such a casual embrace of school closing.  As satisfying as these closings are on a macro level, the prospect of closing numerous charter schools (half of all those in Ohio, to take the obviously extreme example) is worrisome.   I haven&#039;t seen stats on it, but  can&#039;t imagine the leap from a failed charter school back to a traditional public school or into another charter school is an easy one.</description>
