		<description>Ed in &#039;08 has failed to do more than  prod people into saying that education is important and teaching them to pat themselves on the back when they do.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We&#039;ll only deviate from this unproductive, circular approach when someone has the courage to offer a plan for what education should be, what it shouldn&#039;t be, and how to get there. I&#039;m not holding my breath.</description>
