    Common Core Professional Development Through the NJ Amistad Curriculum

    Great news! The New Jersey Amistad Commission’s online curriculum (www.njamistadcurriculum.org) is vastly expanding over the next few months. The expanded curriculum, teaching strategies, and features will not only help New Jersey school districts meet the Amistad Educational Initiative A1301 state mandate, the online curriculum will greatly help all New Jersey English/Language Arts, Social Studies, and elementary teachers meet the new Common Core standards. New Jersey teachers will also be able to use the Amistad curriculum to prepare their students for the PARCC Common Core Assessments they will be taking in 2014.
